What is the problem with the Petkit Pura Max? ›

The Petkit Pura Max Litter Box would do a great job of controlling odor if it didn't leak. The issue is with the litter liner in the bottom of the litter box. It does not seal entirely and if your cat urinates anywhere but the middle, it's going to leak. This creates a smelly mess under the barrel of the machine.

Reset button: Use a pen or other pointed object to press reset button, and hold it down for 10 seconds to restart the device.

Change the Location of the Litterbox

The best thing to do is to keep the litterbox in a private, quiet area that is easy to access. You can try keeping it away from the food and water bowl, in a stress-free place where your cat would have a little privacy.
